Tim Ellis

Mr. Tim Ellis, 43, of Okeechobee, Fla., departed this life Saturday evening, Jan. 7, 2006, at his home.

Tim was born Nov. 12, 1962, in Dalton. He was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Ellis Armes; his grandparents, Herschel and Iris Ethel Grant and Dellis and Margaret Ellis.

Tim loved to play the guitar and spend time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his parents, Ralph and Shirley (Grant) Ellis of Okeechobee, Fla.; brothers, Dr. Terry and Peggy Ellis of Cleveland, Tenn.; sister, Tonya and Chuck Walter of Boynton Beach, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Chandra Dawn Daniel of Delray Beach, Fla., Tessa Mahaley Armes of Oliver Springs, Tenn., Heath Armes of Oliver Springs, Victoria Wonser of Jacksonville, Fla., Terry (Randy) Ellis Jr. of Tunnel Hill, Tyler Macaulay and Alexandra Macaulay , both of Boynton Beach, Haley Walter of Boynton Beach; great-nieces, Annabelle Wonser and Dixie Mae Wonser.

Services to celebrate Tim’s life are Friday at 11 a.m. from the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Dr. Terry Ellis officiating.

Burial will be in Center Valley Cemetery in Murray County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m.
