Jackie Williams
Whitfield County Detective Jackie Williams, 50, of Ringgold and formerly of Dalton, passed away Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at his residence.
He was employed by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Department for more than 21 years. He was a member of South Dalton Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Brown Williams of the residence; parents, Robert and Jessie Williams of Rocky Face; sister, Brenda Williams of Rocky Face; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Sue Williams of Dalton, the Rev. Ricky and Nora Williams of Brunswick; father-in-law and mother-in-law, the Rev. Tim and Sherry Brown of Dalton; brother-in-law, Adam Brown of Virginia; grandmothers, Marie Brown and Hazel Sandridge, both of Dalton; nieces, nephews and special friends, Chad and Jackie Gerrells and Mitch and Angelia Qualls, all of Ringgold.
The funeral is Monday at 3p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Department, Detective Division. A white dove release will conclude the service
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 until 9 p.m.
