CHATSWORTH — The following people entered guilty pleas in Superior Court on Wednesday:
• Tommy Gene Dye, 35, no address available, to possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced as a first offender to five years on probation; to pay a $2,000 fine plus court costs, surcharges and probation fees; to 300 hours of community service; to attend alcohol and drug abuse counseling; and to submit to random drug screens. As a first offender, if he successfully completes probation he will not have a felony on his record. If he does not, he could be resentenced up to the maximum of 15 years.
• Telitha Michelle Mager, 27, 1121 Monroe Circle, Madisonville, Tenn., to possession of cocaine. She was sentenced as a first offender to five years, with 90 days in jail and the rest on probation; to pay a $2,000 fine plus court costs, surcharges and probation fees; to 300 hours of community service; to attend alcohol and drug abuse counseling; and to submit to random drug screens. As a first offender, if she successfully completes probation she will not have a felony on her record. If she does not she could be resentenced up to the maximum of 15 years.
• Jennie Lee Rice, no address available, to possession of a schedule IV drug. She was sentenced to four years, with 30 days in jail and the rest on probation; to pay a $1,500 fine plus court costs, surcharges and probation fees; to 150 hours of community service; to attend alcohol and drug abuse counseling; and to submit to random drug screens.
• Johnny Owen Rider, no address available, to possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to five years, with 90 days in jail and the rest on probation; to pay a $2,000 fine plus court costs, surcharges and probation fees; to 300 hours of community service; to attend alcohol and drug abuse counseling; and to submit to random drug screens.
• Walter George Wright, 411 Bonneville Drive, Chatsworth, to possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to five years on probation, to run concurrent with a sentence for sale of methamphetamine of 10 years on probation with time in a detention center from earlier this year. Prosecutors said the two cases should have been resolved at the same time and the sentences would have run concurrent if they had been.
He was also sentenced to pay a $2,000 fine plus court costs, surcharges and probation fees; to 300 hours of community service; to attend alcohol and drug abuse counseling; and to submit to random drug screens.
