Leonard Earl Parker

Mr. Leonard Earl Parker, 73, of Chatsworth, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Murray Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Haywood and Irene Parker; brothers, Herschel Parker and Roy Parker; a sister, Janell Ash; and a grandson, Labron Holmes.

Survivors include his wife, Claudine Parker; children, Mary and Tommy Parker of Dalton, Susan Harris of Chatsworth, Cynthis and Richard Coran of Chatsworth, Tonya and Tony Collins of Dalton, Randy Parker of Dalton and Teddie and Lisa Parker of Chatsworth; 16 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nellie and Raymond Davis and Lucille and Robert Blaylock, all of Chatsworth; Polly and Arvil Bishop and Gladys Scott, all of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Clyde and Juanita Parker of Chatsworth and Cliff and Shelbyjean Parker; nieces and nephews also survive.

Services are Friday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. James Davenport officiating.

Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today after 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday.

Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth is in charge of arrangements.
