Gregory ‘Greg’ Loyd Yeargin

Mr. Gregory “Greg” Loyd Yeargin, 47, of Los Angeles, Calif., and previously of Dalton, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Loyd Columbus Yeargin; brothers, Randy Michael Yeargin and Raymond Loyd Yeargin; grandparents, Doc and Dessie Jones and Will and Jessie Yeargin.

Greg is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Ashlyn and Jonathan Smalling of Acworth; mother, Ruby Jones Yeargin of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Gregg Simms of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Joanne Yeargin of Dalton, nieces, Cathy Snyder of Dalton, Sheri Ruiz of Atlanta, Carmen Yeargin of Brazil, Ind.; nephew, Douglas Yeargin of Dalton; many other relatives and friends.

Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev.Wallace Wheeles officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
