Area Arrests for Sept. 20

• Dallas Ryan Neel Carter, 20, 4054 Village Drive, Cohutta, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.

• Cynthia Diane Maxwell, 30, 261-A Hardwork Road, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Chatsworth Police Department with DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Kenneth Eugene Stokes, 17, 211 Green Ridge Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts (family violence), criminal trespass (family violence) and simple battery (family violence).

• Ronald Shane Hyde, 32, 330 Downing St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of xanax and possession of a dangerous drug.

• Hermelindo Lopez Mendoza, 39, 137-A Hollywood Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with trafficking in cocaine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Angel Valencia Tapia, 30, 1178 Springdale Highway 225 S., Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with driving without a license, failure to drive within a single lane and DUI.
