Cody Ray Moore

Mr. Cody Ray Moore, 16, of Dalton, departed this life Thursday morning, Aug. 27, 2009, at T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga.

Cody was born Dec. 19, 1992 in Shelby County, Ky.

He is survived by his mother, Redonna Purlee of Dalton; father, Ben Farris of Shelbyville, Ky.; sisters, Kaylah Moore of Dalton, Tamara Moore of Shelbyville and Faith Purlee of Salem, Ind.; grandmother, Dorothy Farris of Shelbyville.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Cody Ray Moore are Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. David Allen officiating.

He will be laid to rest at the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Cisco.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
