John M. Hooker

Mr. John M. Hooker, 73, of Chatsworth, passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at his residence. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Hooker; parents, Mitchell and Sarah Hooker; brother, L.N. Hooker; and sister, Cora Mamie Keener.

Survivors include brothers, Melvin Hooker and J.B. Hooker both of Chatsworth;  sisters, Dorothy Cloer, Claudia Cline, and Marie Noland, all of Chatsworth, and Lou Hayes of Resaca; special friends, Tressie Moore, Harold and Lynn Hulett, Larry, Lisa, and Aaron Wilson, Arnold & Lynda Flood; nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday , Oct. 20, 2010, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with The Reverend Donnie Flood and The Reverend Earl Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairy Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday until the funeral hour.
