Marguerite Keith Raber

Ms. Marguerite Keith Raber, 79 of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Edwin Raber; parents, Amos Ladd Sr. and Lennie Love Keith; brothers, Amos Ladd Keith Jr. and Andrew Jackson Keith.

She taught business education at Murray County High School for more than 40 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Chatsworth.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Jack Crump of Chatsworth; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Lane Raber of Dalton; grandsons, Justin Crump of Chatsworth, Patrick  Raber of New Orleans, Grant Raber of Dahlonega and Blake Raber of Dalton; brothers-in-law, Dr. John Raber of Dahlonega and Dr. Jack Shrum of Athens; sister-in-law, Peggy Keith of Chatsworth, Jean Hagan of Altoona, Pa., and Dorothy Raber of Duncansville, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Peeples  Funeral Home in Chatsworth Sunday from 1-4 p.m.  with a memorial service immediately following in the chapel  at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Jeremy Colloms and the Rev. George Ross officiating.

Flowers will be accepted and donations may also be made to the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth Food Room.
