Miss Teresa Lynn Cartledge, 58, of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude W. and Johnnie Akins Cartledge and grandparents Mose T. and Mildred Elrod Akins and Benjamin and Victoria Watson Cartledge.

Teresa is survived by her sisters Shelia Cartledge of Chatsworth, Vickie Peppers of Social Circle; brothers, Claude T. (Diane) Cartledge of Chatsworth and Bobby (Cindy) Cartledge; aunts Billie Jean Akins (special Aunt Billie), Bessie Akins Miles, Thelma Akins Alderman; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, several cousins and special cousin Rhonda Epperson, godson Aaron Ridley; special friends Buddy and Angie Van Meter, Deborah Prater and Gene Bond.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday from the Church of God of the Union Assembly with the Rev. Trey Starnes, the Rev. Mark Ridley, the Rev. Wayne Hall and the Rev. John Bagley officiating.

Pallbearers will be Micha Cartledge, Jody Cartledge, Ranin Lane,Gerald Bennett, Delane Mathis and Daryl Akins.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home today after 2 p.m.
