Synthia Yvonne Bailey

Ms. Synthia Yvonne Bailey, 50, of Villa Rica, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home in Atlanta following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 23, 1960, in Tampa, Fla., the daughter of the late Mr. Gaines Newton Bailey and the late Mrs. Mattie Pope Bailey. Over the years she had worked as a paralegal, a truck driver for several years, and as a retail clerk. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Matthew Bailey of Villa Rica; sister, Connie Arlene Bailey of Bunnell, Fla.; brother, Tony Gant of Winston; cousins, Ralph, Terri, Allen and Jon; nieces and nephews, Eddie, Rene, Alice and Rebecca.
