Rhoda Ann Johnston

Rhoda Ann Johnston, 51, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall W. Johnston and mother-in-law, Betty J. Johnston.

She was a member of Cedar Valley Cathedral of Praise.

She is survived by her daughter, April A. Johnston of Nashville; parents, the Rev. Clayton and Nellie Faye Brown of Dalton; sister, Althia Moss of Dalton, sisters and brothers-in-law, Christy and LeeRoy Atkinson of Dalton and Tammy and Searcy Wildes of Brentwood, Tenn.; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral is Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Cedar Valley Cathedral of Praise with the Rev. Dallas Parker and the Rev. Robert Duke officiating.

Burial will be at United Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tim Francis, Matthew Smith, Shane Bennett, Allen Hughey, Corey Ewing, Sherman Smith and Josh Smith.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m.
