Area arrests

• Tiffany Elaine Jenkins, 32, 441 11th Ave.-1, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession to distribute cocaine, sale of cocaine and use of communication facilities in drug transactions.

• David Stephen Taylor, 63, 1900 Fairfield Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, open container, operating a vehicle without a proper tag or decal and failure to maintain lane.
