Harold Knowles

Mr. Harold Knowles, 67, of Chatsworth, passed away at Emory Health Care Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013.

Mr. Knowles is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Liza Lou Knowles; father-in-law, Charles Eldridge; four brothers, James Knowles, Charles Knowles, Earl Knowles and Royce Knowles; one sister, Willie Alma Erwin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Gail Knowles of the residence; son, Shawn Knowles of Chatsworth; sisters and brother-in-law, Pat and Hasten Wilson, Carolyn and Forrest Goode, all of Sparta, Tenn.; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Sherry Eldridge of Birmingham, Ala., and Opal Knowles of Plant City, Fla.; mother-in-law, Anita Eldridge of Sparta, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mr. Knowles will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Vess officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

Interment will be Monday at 11 a.m. from Murray Memorial Gardens.
