Bertha McKeehan Carlock

Bertha McKeehan Carlock, 83, of Rocky Face, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Lamar Carlock, and eight siblings.

She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Albert Sheram Carlock of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Brenda Carlock of Rocky Face; two grandchildren and spouses, Chris and Stacie Carlock, and Spencer and April Carlock, all of Rocky Face; three great-grandchildren, McCall, Coty and Alexus Carlock, all of Rocky Face; special niece, Matilda McKeehan and daughter, Karrie McKeehan, both of Rocky Face; and other nieces and nephews.

The funeral to honor the life of Bertha McKeehan Carlock will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. A.L. Harris officiating.

Burial will be in Dunnagan Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m.
