Mrs. Eather “Pauline” Towery, 82, of Chatsworth, departed this life Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at Chatsworth Health Care Center.

Pauline was born April 17, 1931, a daughter of the late Marion Samuel Sr. and Eudona Thompson Walls. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Monroe Towery; son, Nickey Towery; brothers, Mitchell and Gordon Walls; sisters, Marie Shade, Ruth Collins; four infant sisters.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Debora Ann and Darrell Sturgill of Dallas, Ga., Cynthia Gay and John Garrison of Detroit; brother, Sam Walls Jr. of Chatsworth; sisters, Florence Davis of Ellijay, Dorothy Caldwell of Dalton,  Mickey Ledford of Chatsworth, Hilda Stanfield of Resaca; aunt, Lucille Fox; cousin, Rachael Crow of Chatsworth; many other family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Eather Pauline Towery will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Jeremiah Quarles and the Rev. Levoyd Whitton officiating.

 Interment will be in New Hope Kilgore Cemetery with Ricky Quarles, Larry Quarles, Ricky Forrest, Anthony Quarles, Glenn Walls and Sammy Walls serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 3 to 9 p.m.
