Max Tingler

Mr. Max Tingler, 80, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015.

He was the son of the late Carl and Vernelle Carter Tingler. Max was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Fowler Tingler and his daughter, Kathy “Yana” Parrott.

He is survived by his daughter, Marie Tingler of Niceville, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Cindy Parrott of LaFayette; grandchildren, Ashley and Gary Gazaway of Dalton and Rhett and Olivia Parrott of Dalton; sister, Betty T. Barton of Roanoke, Va.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Mimbs and Chaplain Jim Herman officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from noon to 2 p.m.
