Jewell Kendrick Carroll

Mrs. Jewell Kendrick Carroll, 83, of Chatsworth, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at Quinton Memorial Healthcare.

Jewell was a member of Total Praise Baptist Church. She loved to garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Dolly Kendrick; five brothers, Kevin Kendrick, Willard Kendrick, Grady Kendrick, Alvin Kendrick and Bobby Kendrick; four sisters, Lucille Smith, Mary Ruth Rice, Mildred Jones and Minnie Patterson.

Survivors include her stepsons and daughters-in-law, Wayman and Elizabeth Carroll of Chatsworth, Douglas and Theresa Carroll of Chatsworth; stepdaughter, Vickie Swinney of Ringgold; brothers and sisters-in-law, Junior “Buck” and Sue Kendrick of Chatsworth, Earl and Pauline Kendrick of Dalton, Roy Kendrick of Chatsworth; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jewell Kendrick Carroll are Friday at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Poteet officiating. Interment will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of arrangements.
