Lyndia King Hollingsworth

Mrs. Lyndia King Hollingsworth, 68, of Chatsworth, departed this life Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015, at Murray Medical Center. Lyndia was born April 12, 1947, in Dalton. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl King.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Paul Robert Hollingsworth of the residence; mother, Margariette King; brother and sister-in-law, David and Diane King of Chatsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Phil Brackett of Dalton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Morris and Jane Hollingsworth of Gainesville, Ga., Ann and Chris Chrisonhon of Tennessee; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lyndia King Hollingsworth will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Travis Martin and the Rev. Jimmy Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in Dawnville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
