Helen Cooper

Helen Cooper, 81, of Cohutta, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Cooper; son, Rodney Cooper; parents, Thomas and Rose Ann Deverell.

She is survived by a son, Jeff Cooper of Cohutta; daughter-in-law, Debbie Cooper of Chatsworth; sisters and a brother-in-law, Reba Cline of Dalton and Iva and Drew Sutton of Cohutta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Winford and Linda Deverell of Crandall and Larry and Helen Deverell of Cohutta; grandson, Jonathan Cooper; nieces and nephews.

The funeral is Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Gene James officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4 to 8 p.m.
