Area arrests, 2-16

• Donnie Lewis Dunn, 54, 2590 Highway 52 Alternate, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.

• Randall Marvin Rogers, 49, 139 Salem Way, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, felony probation violation and theft by shoplifting.

• Steven Bradley Rogers, 31, 139 Salem Way, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a felony, theft by shoplifting, driving while license is suspended or revoked and driving without insurance.

• Patricia Marie Shurtleff, 37, 114 Georgetown Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI (endangering a child while under the influence of alcohol), DUI (driving under influence of alcohol) and failure to maintain lane.

• Kevin Corey Weaver Jr., 37, 1976 Red Cut Road-B, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Eton Police Department with DUI, open container violation, failure to maintain lane, removing/affixing tag with the intent to conceal the identity of the vehicle and turn signal violation.
