• Justin O’Neal Benton, 23, 340 McCamy Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield county Sheriff’s Office with probation violation, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, failure to appear, violation of a family violence order, possession and use of drug-related objects, improper lane change or usage, driving with a suspended or revoked license and false statement/writing/concealing facts from government.

• Richard Lee Holbrook, 36, 149 Hill Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and two counts of felony probation violation.
• Waylon Dewight McGuffie, 21, 1300 Georgian Place-1, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.
• Kristen Stewart Michael, 21, 138 Spivey Road, Ringgold, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.
• Samantha Michelle Thomason, 24, 292 Inman St., Ringgold, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.
• Carmen Bellavia, 55, 118 Trolley Court, Pittsburgh, Pa., was charged Friday by the state Department of Public Safety with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession and use of drug-related objects, a violation of commercial vehicle hours of service, a violation of commercial vehicle driver qualifications and a violation of commercial vehicle parts and accessories.
• Jose Luis Chacon, 31, 1530 Shady Lane, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with felony failure to appear.
