Carmike plans special promotion for veterans

To honor veterans and film lovers alike, Carmike Cinemas has planned several special promotions during the next week in all locations nationwide.

To thank veterans for their service, Carmike Cinemas will be giving a free small popcorn with purchase of a ticket at the box office to anyone with a military ID on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11.

Also in honor of Veterans Day, the first 100 customers who buy a ticket at the box office to see “Hacksaw Ridge” on Friday will receive an American flag lapel pin on behalf of the film from Lionsgate.

Also now through Thursday, Nov. 10, when customers purchase a ticket at the box office for newly released 3-D movies “Trolls” and/or “Doctor Strange,” Carmike Cinemas will give a $3 voucher to use for a popcorn/drink combo.
