Whitfield County Republican convention this weekend

The Whitfield County Republican Convention convenes Saturday at 10 a.m. at Dalton City Hall, 300 W. Waugh St., to elect delegates and alternates to the 14th Congressional District Republican Convention, electing delegates and alternates to the state convention, adopting the rules of the Whitfield County Republican Party, electing officers for the 2017-19 term and for the purpose of conducting all other necessary business. The Whitfield GOP will not hold its regular meeting on Tuesday. The convention will take the place of the March meeting.
