Frontier Airlines kicks father and daughter off flight for ‘disrespectful remarks’

A father and daughter were kicked off a Frontier Airlines flight in Orlando last week after allegedly privately expressing their displeasure with the airline, News 6 reports. Eric and Whitney Miller had just boarded the flight to St. Louis after a six-hour delay when they were asked to leave because the crew “felt threatened” by their behavior. — Fox News

Villaraigosa: Kamala Harris will bee ‘knocking on doors in Iowa’

Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa aid California Sen. Kamala Harris will be “knocking on doors in Iowa,” indicating Saturday he expects she will run for president. Villaraigosa, who is running for governor of California in 2018, was asked by MSNBC host Hugh Hewitt about Harris, a newly elected senator considered a rising star in the Democratic Party. Hewitt predicted she would be the nominee for the Democrats in 2020. — The Washington Free Beacon

The most expensive British car in history: 1956 Aston Martin DBR1 sells for record-breaking $22.5 million

A classic car raced by Sir Stirling Moss and described as the “most important Aston Martin ever produced” became the most valuable British-made car ever when it sold for $22.5 million at the annual auction at Monterey Car Week on Friday. The 1956 Aston Martin DBR1 is the firm’s equivalent to the Ferrari 250 GTO and Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR and just five were built between 1956 and 1958. — The Telegraph

Mother discovers daughter’s cremains are actually dog remains

Jennifer Dailey opted to have her stillborn daughter cremated two years ago, and has been reeling from the loss ever since. Canada struggles with refugee surge from U.S.

Soldiers busily assemble tents with wooden floors, lighting and heating in Canada’s Quebec province near the US border to temporarily house a surge in asylum seekers from the United States.
