Today's Forum for June 26

“So you have allergies to dogs and cats, therefore, they shouldn’t be allowed in stores. I have allergies to kids that are out of control and parents that don’t care. In all fairness to everyone, ban dogs and children from every established so we can all be happy.”

“Isn’t it weird that in our beloved America that our flag and our culture seem to offend so many people, but our benefits don’t?”

“America was great while Obama was president.”

“Almost any time in history was better before Obama was president.”

“When was America greater than it is now, you ask? Any time before Jan. 20, 2017, at noon.”

“Just a few months ago we had tons of money to buy expensive property in order to spend more money to demolish said property in order to spend more money to build a park that we were going to spend more money for maintenance and policing to keep it safe for the genteel folks of Dalton. Now we’re dead broke and need a tax increase. Think on it!”

“’Most young people don’t want to work?’ Who are you basing this on? Your children? Your family? I am not a young person, but I know many young people and they do indeed want to work. Not only that, but they want to do good, correct injustice and, here you go, be positive.”

“The government got the voters they paid for.”

“All these parks are good until the tax bills are due.”

“Everyone is so focused on the Alabama senatorial race while the FCC is left to quietly have their vote to repeal net neutrality on Thursday. Yikes! Wake up America. Gather your keyboards and email the FCC to oppose net neutrality. Or sit quietly by and watch your access to unrestricted media disappear before your very eyes.”

“George Soros and the leftie Alinsky handbook comrades seek to divide. Obama succeeded in turning blacks against whites. Hillary sought to turn women against men and the Democrats are on steroids with that marathon. Please recognize that your sentiments are being played for an agenda and those who seek to control do not care about you as an individual, but as a collective to manipulate.”

“Georgia’s wins over Auburn and Notre Dame are better than any wins on Bama’s schedule. Georgia also destroyed Mississippi State who Bama was lucky to beat. Bama should be thankful they are getting a second chance after not winning their own division.”

“I think I remember UGA beating Auburn who beat Alabama and you’re just lucky that the football gods thought Alabama was prettier than Ohio State or y’all would be home watching the playoffs this year.”

“Despite his age, I would like to see Eli Manning quarterbacking the Falcons and Matt Ryan on the bench.”

“God knows who truly loves him, even in Alabama.”

“So far I’ve made it to my 60s without ever feeling the need to shop at a Bed, Bath & Beyond store, and I think I can make it to the bitter end without doing so. This is the worst example of use for the old Kmart building yet.”

“A sad farewell to the Walnut Avenue Kmart pharmacy. Employees Tina and Ivy have served my family, including my dog, with care and courtesy over many years.”
