“The other day I watched an amazing football game. There were no outlandish end zone celebrations and no one took a knee on the sidelines. It’s always great to watch an Army-Navy game.”

“SEC hockey sounds more exciting than SEC basketball, unless you’re a Kentucky fan of course.”

“Where are all of those Kirby is not so ‘Smart’ jokes now? I guess those Tennessee, Florida and Georgia Tech fans who were cracking that joke were busy on their bowl trips. Oh wait, none of those teams played in a bowl.”

“I’m not normally a Georgia fan, but I hope they run Alabama from one end of the stadium all the way back to Alabama.”

“There’s a good reason why UCF is having their bogus national championship parade at Disney World. Where else would they celebrate a Mickey Mouse Championship other than at Disney World with Mickey?”

“Another grocery store is just what we need. There are already six or seven in town so what’s another one? It’s just like car lots, they pop up everywhere.”

“If smoking pot destroys your brain cells, then that means that cigarettes and alcohol are good for you.”

“To the one that’s wondering how much the fox gets paid to guard the hen house, he gets one hen and one rooster every week.

“So we advertise for a city administrator for $100,000 to $110,000 and we end up paying $112,000. I can’t believe we elect these guys.”

“I believe this Russian collusion mess is going to hit the Democrats square between the eyes. What do you think about that? It kind of looks that way.”

“I’m hoping to win the Mega Millions but it will all be gone in the middle of the month when I get my power bill.”

“With everyone questioning Donald Trump’s mental fitness, and let’s say he’s not crazy, wouldn’t a sane person stop with the crazy stuff and try to act normal? Donald Trump won’t do that because he’s unfit.”

“This chilly weather has me longing for the dog days of summer. They can’t get here fast enough!”

“May God bless all of our local legislators as they prepare to begin another session under the Gold Dome. Please watch over them as they travel to and from Atlanta, and grant them the wisdom to do what is best for all Georgians.”

“Why do people get so upset when someone calls the Forum to thank someone for a good deed? Would they rather read something negative? Sometimes I think they would. I don’t understand some people and I guess I never will.”
