• Steven Joseph Brown, 25, 6248 Highway 225 N., Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with third-degree cruelty to children (third or subsequent offense), simply battery (family violence), four counts of obstructing or hindering persons making emergency phone calls, three counts of simple assault, false imprisonment, three counts of terroristic threats and acts, two counts of aggravated assault (family violence) and felony probation violation.

• Brian Carey Camp, 27, 518 W. Walnut St., Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.
• David Dewayne Denton, 19, 788 Bermuda St.-H2, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of or intent to sell marijuana and use of communication facilities in drug transactions.
• Timmothy Gayle Drake, 59, Eton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of a schedule 2 drug (opium), possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.
• Casey Matthew Manis, 35, 213 Fashion Lane, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with parole violation.
• Charles Mason, 36, 151 Sandy Road, Cleveland, Tennessee, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with fugitive from justice (from Cleveland).
• Linda Gail Roberts, 57, 445 Redbud Way, Cohutta, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with manufacture of marijuana, possession of meth, possession and use of drug-related objects and possession of a firearm/knife during the commission of a felony.

• Todd Dewayne Thomas, 17, 34 Cydes Lane, Ringgold, was charged Thursday by the state Department of Juvenile Justice with obstruction of an officer by threat or violence.
• Jeffery Arthur Cress, 57, homeless, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with failure to register as a sex offender/comply with requirements.
• Hulon Ottis Dunn, 36, 733 41 St. N.E., Cleveland, Tennessee, was charged Friday by the Varnell Police Department with DUI, failure to maintain lane and distracted driving.
