Area Arrests for Sept. 28

• Donna Sue Townsend, 58, 173 Kingdom Hall Road, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI; improper lane change/failure to maintain lane; driving on the wrong side of the road; open container violation; sale, distribution or possession of dangerous drugs and driving without a valid license.

• Sheena Lalonda Davis, 31, 503 Learning Way-11, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI (controlled substance), driving an unsafe or improperly equipped vehicle, failure to maintain lane and hit and run.

• Jamie Shawn Hightower, 44, 14 Crystal Lane-604, Acworth, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a schedule 4 drug and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• James Anthony Witt Jr., 27, 147 Montana Way-Lot 3, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Charlesy Miranda Bellas, 23, 66 Harley Lee Drive-89, LaFayette, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.
