The Bookshelf: Meet Godfrey Tu, Patron of the Month

This month we get to shine a spotlight on one of our library regulars, Godfrey Tu. He’s been coming to the library for as long as we can remember and has become one of our favorite patrons.
Request: Please tell us a little bit about yourself.
Tu: My name is Godfrey Tu and I am 11 years old. I go to Hammond Creek Middle School, and I enjoy gaming, food, friends and family.

Question: How do you use the library?
Tu: I use the library to talk to my friends, have time away from blue light screens and lastly, to see some people I care about the most.
Question: Why is the library important to you?
Tu: The library is important to me because I have been coming to this library since I was 5 years old. I have had some of the best memories of my life here and I know there will be more to come.
Question: What is your favorite television show of all time?
Tu: My favorite TV show would be “Fresh Off the Boat.”

Question: What was the last book you recommended to a friend?
Tu: The last book I recommended was “Restart” by Gordon Korman.
Question: If you could have three authors over for dinner (living or dead), who would you invite?
Tu: I would have Zachary Sterling, Lily LaMotte and Peter H. Reynolds over.
