Rhonda Lynn Hancock Garrett

Rhonda Lynn Hancock Garrett, 43, of Dalton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her father, Buford Hancock and grandparents, Raymond and Ruth Hancock.

Survivors include her husband, William Garrett of the residence; daughters, Kayla Watson of Dalton, Michelle Garrett Wade of Travelers Rest, S.C.; son, Ryan Watson of Harrison, Ar.; mother, Shirley Hancock of Pyatt, Ark.; sisters, Sondra Fisk and Kathy Patton, both of Pyatt; brother, Kenneth Hancock of Pyatt; grandchildren, Emma Soto of Dalton, Xander Watson, Remington Watson, Jaxon Watson, and Alexa Ramsey, all of Harrison, Levi Wade of Travelers Rest.

A memorial service to honor the life of Rhonda Garrett will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Chaplain Pat Davis officiating.  

The family will receive friends at the funeral home  Wednesday noon until the service hour at 2 p.m.  

The family asks that memorial contributions be made in Rhonda’s memory at ALS Center, 1010 Edge Hill Road North, Charlotte, NC 28207.
