Catoosa teen killed in single-vehicle crash

A Catoosa County teen died early Monday morning after a single-vehicle accident, according to Catoosa County Coroner Vanita Hullender. Hullender said the victim was Jeremy Morrison, 18, of Tunnel Hill.

According to a dispatcher with the Georgia State Patrol, the wreck happened around 2:06 a.m. on State Road 1 near Rossville.

Wilson Funeral Home, Wallis-Stewart Chapel in Ringgold, is handling arrangements. According to an obituary on the funeral home website, Morrison was a 2010 graduate of Ringgold High School where he played soccer. He was an employee of Hardee’s in Ringgold.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday until the funeral time.
