• Brittany Harvey, 17, 225 Cottonwood Mill Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by shoplifting and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Charles Henry Maness, 36, 910 Mitchell Bridge Road, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, a seat belt violation, failure to maintain lane, operation of a vehicle with improper tag and driving without insurance.

• Andrew Heath Marcus, 18, 4050 Cleveland Highway, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with simple battery (family violence), terroristic threats and acts, and criminal trespass.

• Shirley Fauscett, 46, 224 Spring St., Varnell, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Miriam Rodriguez-Ocegueda, 23, 601 James St., No. 10, Rossville, was charged Sunday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with DUI, open container of alcohol and failure to maintain lane.

• Charles Morton Shirley, 33, 238 Hazel Lane, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with manufacturing/selling or possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance.

• Luis Alberto Velasques-Escobar, 26, 788 Bermuda St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.
