Arvil Lee Swanson

Mr. Arvil Lee Swanson, 84, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Mark and Bessie Jones Swanson and was preceded in death by his sister, Geneva Screws. and nieces and nephews.

Arvil is survived by his loving wife, Rosie Dixon Swanson; son, Andrew Swanson; grandchildren, Daniel Swanson and Becky Swanson, all of Dalton; nieces and nephews.

Services are Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.
