Lula King

Lula King, 74, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, at Hamilton Medical Center.  

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Cole and Gertrude Parker, and a brother, Franklin Thomas.

She was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church.

Survivors are two daughters, Michell Gray of Ringgold and Terresa Holden of Cartersville; two sisters, Evelyn Allen of Chattanooga and Dorothy Schnitzler of Butler, Ky.; three grandchildren, Erin Holden, Peyton Holden and Sarah Key; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to honor the life of Lula King will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Grove Level Baptist Church with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
