Edith Baggett Springfield

Mrs. Edith Baggett Springfield, 90, of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at her residence.

Edith was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Sarah Baggett; sister, Annie Lee Crook; husband, RT Springfield; daughter, Linda Faye Springfield; grandson, Steve Paige.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Julian and Vickie Springfield of Chatsworth; brother, Earl Baggett of Chatsworth; sister, Thelma Sitton of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Jenny and Eric Lock; great-grandchildren, Nicole and Jered Hensley, Jacob Paige; one great-great grandchild, Madison Hensley; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Edith Baggett Springfield will be Tuesday at Smyrna Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Andrew Bowen, Frank Loyd and Tim Howard officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4 to 8 p.m.

The body will be at Smyrna Baptist Church Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m.
