• Elias Navarro Araiza, 22, 2694 Old Chattanooga Road, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with discharge of firearms on property; discharging firearm while under the influence; public drunkenness; dumping, disposing, etc., of litter; public indecency; and five counts of pointing or aiming gun or pistol.
• James Allen Barrett, 29, 3781 Old Federal Road S., Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with reckless conduct, criminal attempt and terroristic threats and acts (family violence).
• Matthew Dustin Fraire, 26, 323 N. Summit Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with child molestation.
• Hank Talon James Henson, 20, 428 Westbrook Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with battery (family violence), terroristic threats and acts, and cruelty to children.
• Bryan Andrew Bird, 28, 895 Houston Valley Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, possession and use of drug-related objects, giving false name/address/date of birth to a law officer, possession of firearm by a convicted felon and two counts of probation violation (one felony count).
• Terry Lee Buckner, 49, 102 Forrest Park Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Jason Eugene Freeman, 31, 168 Biltmore Way, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with manufacture/delivery/sell/possession to distribute a controlled substance and giving a false name/address/date of birth to a law officer.
• William Earl Jackson, 51, 4625 Bramblett Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, running a red light and an open container violation.
• Josue Nicolas Paniagua-Hernandez, 19, 808 Park Creek Way, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and a headlight violation.
