Samuel C. Jones

Mr. Samuel C. Jones, 51, of Dalton, departed this life Thursday, May 29, 2014, at the local hospital.  

Samuel was born Feb. 25, 1963, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Columbus Jones; brother, Thomas Alvin Jones.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Jones; brother, Dave Jones; aunt, Zona Terry, all of Dalton; niece, Misty and Brandon Hooker; great-niece and nephews, Lannie Hooker, Eric Hooker, Tyler Hooker, all of Chatsworth.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Samuel C. Jones will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Ronald W. Laughland officiating.  

Interment will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
