Ronny Gene Brown ‘Crazy Horse’

Mr. Ronny Gene Brown “Crazy Horse,” 55, of Calhoun, departed this life Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Ronny was born Feb. 26, 1956, in Hamtramick, Mich. Ronny was born a son of the late Herman R Brown.
Ronny is survived by his mother, Willie Mae “Rachel” Crowe of Calhoun. Ronny is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-laws, Teresa and Buddy Moore of Calhoun and Judy and Danny Joe Weaver of Port St. Lucie, Fla., as well as an uncle Bill and Linda McCoy of Cartersville and a special niece, Shea Gulledge.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ronny Gene Brown will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Calhoun Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Morrow officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Weaver, Chris Phipps, Ryne Payne, Jerry Gulledge, Charles Phipps Jr. and Jeremy Childers. Honorary pallbearers will be Benny James, Aubrey Tatum and Chuck Fritz.
Interment will be at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with full military honors.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Calhoun Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home.
