Curfew still in effect in Thomasville

THOMASVILLE — A curfew remains in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said Monday.

The curfew is in place to allow emergency crews to repair utility lines and clear roads of debris.

The Thomas County Emergency Management Agency also said the shelter at New Covenant Church closed at 3 p.m. Monday.

The City of Thomasville reported that as of mid-afternoon about 3,800 of its customers were without power.
