2 hurt in shooting on Brookhaven highway

Two people have been injured in a shooting on a Brookhaven highway.

Brookhaven Police Lt. Brandon Gurley told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the men were shot in a vehicle on Buford Highway around 4:15 a.m. The wounds were not believed to be life-threatening.

Gurley said the victims pulled into a parking lot and requested help.

Police are still trying to determine a motive and possible suspects.
