Ronnie David Welch, 62, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014.

He was born on Feb. 22, 1951, in Dalton.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gene Welch; brothers, Allen Welch and Ed Ball; sister, Linda Pierce.

He is survived by his son, Kenny Welch of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Thomas Dillard of Chatsworth; mother, Sally Ball (Welch) Ralston of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Cynthia Welch of Chatsworth, Danny and Pam Ball of Tunnel Hill, Ricky and Regina Welch of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Joe Lawless of Dalton, Charlotte Scott of Tennessee, Dianne and Trammell Caldwell of Dalton; sister-in-law, Louise Ball of Dalton; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral to celebrate the life of Ronnie David Welch will be at noon Sunday at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Bobby Welch, Kenny Welch, Colby Welch, Brandon Welch, Kevin Lawless and Corey Lawless will be serving as pallbearers.

Interment will be at United Memorial Gardens.

The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
