“Trump fires his third National Security advisor and in the same week an American ally gets attacked by drone. Our enemies can smell weakness.”

“Why not try to spend our SPLOST money on the people who already live here and pay taxes instead of wasting it in the name of attracting new people?”

“Two things concerning the request for SPLOST money for recreation. For years there has been an issue getting enough officials to officiate the games. How is this going to change with more fields/gyms? Second, when Chastain says turf in his proposal is he talking about building artificial turf fields and upgrading existing field to artificial turf? What’s wrong with natural grass? Just more unnecessary spending that will kill another SPLOST”

”I attended the North Murray/Ringgold game Friday night. Very proud of the adjustments North Murray made at the half. They looked like a whole different team. I just wish the Indians could have won also.”

“The reason Trump bullying tactics go beyond ‘punching back’ is that the ‘attacks’ on him are attacks on his policies or his lies or some other behavior. His punching back is nothing more than name calling, criticism of appearance or more lies. His defense of the original criticism against him is always the same: fake news, fake news, folks. A mature, intelligent adult would explain why his critics are wrong. Do you see the difference?”

South and west sides of Whitfield County, please note next election day as you consider whether to bother voting or not.”
