Mr. Emilio Cardona Amador, 59, of Los Angeles, Calif., passed away Friday, Feb., 10, 2006, in California.
He was born Apr. 22, 1946, in El Salvador, son of the late Emilio Cardona and Martha Amador, in El Salvador.
He was the director of the Billy Graham Radio Ministries in San Salvador, El Salvador, for many years. He dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ at a very young age and was a pastor for many years. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Martha Diaz of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughters and sons-in-law, Karla J. Cardona and Ricky Bravo, Alma and Miguel Bravo; son, Emilio Antonio Cardona, all of Dalton; brother, Jose Alfonzo Lozano of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Rosa Castro of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren, Jessamine, Natalie, Alicia and Alma Bravo.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday from the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Bravo and Pastor Ernesto Mendez officiating. Interment will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
