Area Arrests for March 21

• Richard Fred Ausmus, 57, 1049 Robinson Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth.

• Charles Mitchell Haught Jr., 37, 21 Ginger Lane, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of controlled substances or marijuana.

• Megan Brooke Smith, 29, no address listed, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by receiving stolen property.

• Justice Caroline Young, 19, 3638 Dogwood Valley Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession and use of drug-related objects, possession of marijuana and two counts of misdemeanor probation violation.

• Kimberly Elise Love, 48, 407 Roberts St., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with sale of cocaine, identity theft fraud, financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud, misdemeanor theft by shoplifting and misdemeanor theft of lost or mislaid property.

• Heather Danielle Parker, 35, 156 Bryson Circle, Ringgold, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.

• Edward Lee Thacker, 27, 445 Springs Meadow Drive, Ringgold, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and failure to maintain lane.
