Thanks to everyone who helped with St. Mark’s Preschool annual Chili Supper
On behalf of St. Mark’s Preschool, I would like to thank everyone who supported our annual Chili Supper Fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 2. The event was a big success — money was raised and hopefully everyone enjoyed a very good bowl of chili!

We would like to thank the businesses and individuals who generously donated to the event. Thank you to Dalton Golf & Country Club, The Filling Station, The Chop Shop, Chick-fil-A, Mama Wilson’s Homemade Cookies and Cakes, The Oakwood Café and Direct Packaging.
Of course, an event such as this takes many hours and many volunteers — too many to name — so a big thank you to the parents, Advisory board members and parishioners who worked the event. A big thanks to our faithful delivery drivers — Meredith Andersen, Robb Andersen, Anne and David Blaylock, Chris Bock, Beverly and Johnny Carmichael, Mike Knapp and Marilyn Lance — who gave up there morning to deliver chili all over this county. To the teachers who helped with the drive-thru, assembled delivery boxes, cleaned up and offered after-school child care for our parents who helped into the afternoon. To the parents who cooked the chili, sold the tickets and worked long hours. To the parishioners, church staff, community members and parents of present and past students who helped, thank you!
And a special thank you to Mohawk Industries and Robert Webb, the Roman Open and several anonymous donors who have supported us through the years, enabling us to continue providing a setting where typical and special needs children, and their families, come together to learn
