Leon Weber

Leon Weber, 68, of Cohutta, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Weber; three brothers, R.L., Jerry and Don Weber.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Greg Bonner of Calhoun; mother, Appie Weber of Cohutta; sisters and brothers-in-law, Paulette and Lamar Barnard of Dalton and Tommie and Erby Cheatham of Oklahoma; a sisters-in-law, Jane Weber of Fort Worth, Texas, and Patsy Weber of Cohutta; grandchildren, Heath and Haggan Spector and Nate Bonner all of Calhoun; nieces and nephews, Terrie Vaughn, Michelle Dukes, Patricia Poteet, Debra Cockburn, Brent O’Rear, Donna O’Rear and several great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Sunday, at 2 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. John Tudor officiating.

Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronald Whaley, David Williams, Jerry Lindsey, Max Crawford, Jonathan Crawford and Jimmy King. Honorary pallbearers will be Clifford Sneed, Gordon Owenby and W. C. Lewis. A White Dove Release Ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 until 9 p.m.

Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove Chapel, Dalton, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
