Herbert Felton Dean

Mr. Herbert Felton Dean, 76, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at the Georgia Veterans War Home in Milledgeville.

He was the son of the late Thurmond Lee and Essie Mae Wilson Dean and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Herbert is survived by his wife, Mary Doris Parks Dean of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Pamela Dean, Mark and Tonya Dean all of Dalton; grandchildren, Joshua Dean, Rebekah Dean, Alex Dean and Sidney Dean; uncle, R.L. Dean of Texas; nieces and nephews .

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. R.L. Dean officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home today after 5 p.m.
