Ernest P. Roberson, 73, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Viola Roberson of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Randall Pack of Chatsworth; sons and daughters-in-law, Willard and Charlotte Roberson, Tony and Susie Roberson, and Roger Roberson, all of Dalton and Terry and Debbie Roberson of Sugar Valley; stepdaughter, Deborah Atkinson of Dalton; stepson, Gerald Long of Atlanta; sisters, Gertrude Nicholson, Willie Wheat, Ruby Carroll, and Chris Wheat all of Dalton, and Lois Massingill of Chatsworth; brother, Troy Roberson of Dalton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The funeral is Thursday at noon at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 until 9 p.m.
