Mrs. Mary Dovie Huggins, 87, of Tucker, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Grace Health Care in Tucker.

She was born July 4, 1920, in DeKalb County, daughter of the late Bill and Ollie Caldwell Henry. Her brothers, Frank Henry, Clyde Henry; sisters, Fannie Lou Bell, Betty Jane Henry, Martha Jean Henry, all preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Virgil Lee Huggins Sr. of Conyers; son and daughter-in-law, Virgil Lee Jr. and Wynelle Huggins of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Jerome and Lisa Huggins of Canton, Preston and Nancy Huggins of Dacula and Kelly and Angela Huggins of Roswell; great-grandchildren, Joshua Huggins, Victoria Huggins, Noah Huggins, Aidan Huggins; sister, Mae Bradley; nieces, nephews.

Services are Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Pastor Lloyd Ferguson officiating.

Burial will be in the West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
